Know the basics before you begin

What you need to get started

This setup flow requires only the user panel, an active plan, and the VPNLP client for your platform. Client access is provided through the user panel rather than as static installers on marketing pages. This keeps client downloads, subscription status, and the current account aligned, while helping you avoid files intended for another platform.

Before you begin, decide which device you will use for the first connection. Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS follow the same import logic: open the panel to get the subscription link, open the client’s subscription section, paste the link, and load the routes. The main differences involve system permission prompts, menu locations, and background behavior. Linux is also supported, but command-line and desktop environments differ considerably, so a graphical platform is recommended for the first connection. See the user manual for detailed Linux guidance.

If you already have a VPNLP account, skip to “Choose a plan.” If your plan is already active, start at “Get your subscription link.” Do not copy route parameters manually from another device or share the subscription link in public chats or documents. The link delivers the configuration available to your account and should be treated like an account credential.

Account

Set up panel access

Create an account

After opening the account page, enter a username you plan to use long term and set a password. VPNLP does not require an email address; your username and password are the credentials for accessing the user panel. Choose a username you can recognize, and use a password that is different from those used on other websites. Check the entries once more before submitting to avoid repeated attempts caused by a forgotten detail at first login.

After account creation, the page will open the user panel or show a login option. Confirm that areas such as Overview, Plans, and Clients appear in the top navigation or sidebar. Their presence means the account is ready for the next step. If the page remains on the login screen, sign in with the username and password you just set; no additional email confirmation is required.

The user panel is the hub for everything that follows. Plan status, subscription links, client access, and order information are all available there. Bookmark the panel if useful, but do not put login credentials in the bookmark name or shared notes. If you created the account on a public device, sign out when finished and clear the browser’s saved login state.

Plans

Choose by data usage

Choose a plan and complete the order

In the plans section, first distinguish monthly subscriptions from data packages. Monthly subscriptions suit ongoing use: ¥9.9/month includes 60GB, ¥18/month includes 250GB, and ¥28/month includes 500GB. Monthly data resets on each monthly renewal date; when upgrading mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Consider your usual device count, video quality, file transfers, and AI Tools usage rather than comparing price alone.

Data packages remain available until used and never expire: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB are currently available. They suit irregular usage or anyone who wants to save data for later. Both monthly subscriptions and data packages support unlimited devices online at the same time, so you do not need a separate plan for each personal device.

Once you have chosen a plan, click its Start Using button and review the plan name, data allowance, and amount in the order confirmation area. Payment methods include Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. Complete the order using an available method, then return to the user panel to check the plan status. Wait until the page shows the plan as active before opening the subscription section. If the order is still processing, do not create the same order again; refresh the panel status first.

You do not need to study every route before making your first choice. Once the plan is active, the subscription provides the routes currently available to your account, and you can choose by target region when connecting. VPNLP offers 7-day no-questions-asked refunds; see the refund policy for the rules and eligibility.

Next: open the plans section Complete the order and confirm that the plan is active.

Subscription

Deliver routes to the client

Get the subscription link from the user panel

After the plan becomes active, open the user panel overview. Find the subscription section, confirm that it shows the current account’s active subscription, and click to copy the subscription link. This is not an ordinary web address; it lets the client read the route list, route types, and future configuration updates. After copying it, go straight to the client instead of opening the link in a browser.

For format reference only, the example below is invalid. It does not belong to VPNLP and cannot be used to connect:

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

A real subscription link should only be copied from the user panel after login. Do not modify the domain based on an example or assemble parameters yourself, and do not get the address from search results, group messages, or someone else’s screenshot. If the copied link is missing its ending, the client usually cannot load the configuration. Return to the panel and copy the complete link again instead of adding characters manually.

Give the subscription link only to the client you use. It may remain temporarily in browser clipboards, cross-device sync, or input-method clipboard history, so clear clipboard records according to your device settings after importing it. If you suspect the link has been exposed, stop sharing it and follow the subscription security steps in the user manual.

Next: open the panel overview Copy the complete subscription link for the current account.

Client

Follow the steps for your system

Import the client for your platform

First choose your device platform in the Clients section of the user panel. VPNLP does not place direct installer links on this page; client access and subscription delivery are handled through the user panel. After installation, you do not need to create server entries manually. Find the subscription import option and paste in the link you copied above.

Desktop platforms

Windows

Open the Clients section in the user panel, select Windows, and get the VPNLP client. After installation, open the program and look for subscription management in the main window, sidebar, or top menu. Common labels include “Add subscription,” “Import from link,” and “New configuration.” Choose link import, paste the complete subscription address, give it a recognizable name, and save it.

Return to the route list after saving and run a subscription update. Seeing routes such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, and Los Angeles indicates that the client has loaded the configuration. When connecting for the first time, Windows will show a system network permission prompt; verify the app name and allow the connection. If the route list is still empty, check for spaces at either end of the link and copy it again from the panel.

Desktop platforms

macOS

Choose the macOS client in the user panel and follow the panel instructions to download and install it. On first launch, macOS may ask you to approve a network extension or VPN configuration. This permission allows the client to route system traffic through the selected route; if you skip it, the subscription may appear normally but no connection will be established.

Open the client’s configuration or subscription page, choose Add via URL, paste the subscription link from the panel, and save it. Then click Update to load the routes. If a client status icon appears in the menu bar, use it to open the main window, switch routes, or disconnect. System permissions, network-extension conflicts, and coexistence with Apple services are advanced topics not covered here; continue with the complete user manual.

Mobile platforms

Android

In the Clients section of the user panel, select Android and install the VPNLP client using the method provided there. Open it, go to configuration management, tap Add or Import, and choose to load from a subscription link. Make sure the input field contains only the subscription address, without explanatory text, quotation marks, or line breaks. Save it, run an update, and wait for the route list to appear.

When you choose a route and connect, Android will show a system VPN permission dialog. After confirmation, a system connection indicator appears in the status bar. If the connection stops soon after the app goes into the background, check the system settings for background activity and battery management. Menu paths vary widely by manufacturer; see the Android VPN setup from scratch guide for details. This page covers only import and first connection.

Mobile platforms

iOS

Open the iOS Clients section in the user panel and obtain the supported client through the App Store path provided there. After installation, open the app and choose Add Link in the subscription, configuration, or remote files section. Paste the subscription address copied from the panel, enter a local name, save it, and refresh the configuration.

When connecting for the first time, iOS will ask for permission to add a VPN configuration. Confirm it, return to the client, choose the target route, and turn on the connection switch. A VPN indicator in the system status area only confirms that the system configuration has started; use the next section to verify that traffic reaches the correct exit. If the client says the subscription cannot be parsed, check the plan status in the user panel and copy the complete link again.

Verification

Confirm that the connection is working

Connect to a route and verify the result

Once the route list appears, choose an exit region based on where the target service is located. For services in Japan, try Tokyo first; for Southeast Asian services, try Singapore or Hong Kong. IEPL, transit, and direct connections use different link arrangements, but you do not need to study every parameter at first. Start with a route near the target region and adjust it based on the actual result.

After clicking Connect, wait for the client status to show Connected. Then open a browser and visit a familiar IP geolocation checker to confirm that the exit country or region matches the selected route. Open the website or app you actually need and check that it loads, the account region is as expected, and video or AI Tools requests complete normally. A changed client button alone does not prove that the target service is using the correct exit.

If the exit region is correct but the website still shows content for the previous region, close the old page, clear that site’s cache and cookies, and reopen it. Existing browser connections may continue to be reused after a route change, so a new private window makes old-session effects easier to rule out. If different browsers produce different results, check whether browser extensions, the system proxy, or in-app proxy settings are overriding the client configuration.

If the connection fails, try another route in the same region and then confirm that the subscription updates normally. Do not run multiple clients responsible for system network connections at the same time, as they may compete for the same system permissions. If the cause is still unclear, note the platform, selected region, route type, client message, and the step where the problem occurred, then follow the troubleshooting order in the user manual.

Client Status shows Connected

Confirm that the currently selected route name has not changed.

Exit Region matches the route

Use a new browser window to check the geolocation.

Target service The actual request completes

Recheck with the website or app you ultimately need to access.

Maintenance

After the first connection

Routine updates and handoff

After the first verification, daily use only requires opening the client, updating the subscription, choosing a route, and connecting. When the route list changes, use the client’s subscription update function to load the latest configuration instead of deleting the account and starting over. Monthly subscription data resets on each monthly renewal date, while data packages remain available until used and never expire; check the user panel for the current balance.

When changing devices, sign in to the same user panel on the new device, then follow this page to get the client and subscription for that platform. VPNLP supports unlimited devices online at the same time, but the subscription link should remain only on devices you manage. When retiring the old device, disconnect first, remove the local subscription configuration, and sign out of the user panel.

This page has covered the complete path from account creation to connection verification. Route types, long-term maintenance, platform permission conflicts, exposed subscription links, renewals, and advanced route selection are outside a first-time setup flow. For those topics, open the VPNLP user manual and follow the relevant chapter.
